Well, I solved the SL (Sierra Leone-Liverpool) convoys you guys reported. They actually have been escorted after '41. If you encounter some more just upload your gamesave and I'll check it out. These campaign tweaks can be done anytime but they are hard to test, which means that player's feedback is very important here.
Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean that every single convoy in late war years has been escorted...
