Advice

HI I might say what are the programs that I could use to increase the resolution of these 4 files. tga?
For all of them now have a resolution of 128 x 128 ... but I'd like to achieve 512 x 512 while maintaining a good quality
You can see these tga to this mod

Having a problem with this mod, running 5 careers and while the recently used one's work with this mod, going back to patrol with older careers, they CTD:nope:Just at the end of the loading bar,SH3Cmdr is set to auto roll back, but as if its stopped working and not rolling back.Every time I add a mod,the careers that are tried straight away work fine, but if I try and older career that hasn't been used for a week or so,then the dreaded CTD appears,If I remove said mod, then everything is fine:06:all careers are in port when mods are added and no conflict is flaged up in JSGME,this is driving me nuts!!!!:wah:remove the mod and 3 careers work, add the mod and the other 2 work but the other 3 CTD,Can anybody help please:damn:

Hi people, I'm working to reduce to desired resolutions when we will finish the tests and all will be ok I shall return here to add the link for download!

Ciao Desga:salute:

First....pictures i've seen looks great, meaning this mod is good (wondering why i didn't do this for SH4...maybe i had no time to think.....)

However, i found out that there are no credits for the name "jaketoox" in the readme-file...see post #23 in this thread...

But......as i'm not active modder due to RL requirements (RL sucks ALWAYS), and not wanting to start any kind of war here, you have my "green light" even if you don't rewrite your readme....but that would be nice act if you do so....

Happy modding

jake

Hi All Commander, you excuse me for my English.
After numerous requests from the other captains who had slowdowns with resolution 1024 x 1024, we captains Duval and Desga can finally release 2 new versions for the * D&D Wake mod *
The first resolution is 512 x 512
the second resolution is 256 x 256
The files are already tested!
A big thanks for his cooperation to the captain CapZap1970 which provided a great help in this transformation.
A warm thanks to all the commanders who were able to appreciate the work done for the sole purpose of being able to entertain everyone and improving this great simulator!

Jaketoox, whether you realize it or not, I owe you an apology.

As you are one of the original ROW modders alongside the late LeoVampire and company... you are most certainly the expert on the matter... and have the means to speak with authority on this subject.

Your statement I respect as being true evidence.

Desga and Duval, you need to do the right thing. I retract my statement that asks you to stand your ground. It is CLEAR that you have used the work of others, so you should naturally take a moment to adjust your readme text files and credit your re-release of these textures properly.

That's a wonderful mod guys. Thank you.

mengle 03-30-09 06:06 AM

looking forward for the new bowspray :yeah:

Carotio 03-30-09 10:36 AM

Now, that you can give jaketoox an apology, I think you owe me one as well, since I presented the evidence in public (#post 23) and for jaketoox, and then you just commented in a rather unfriendly way.

Don't take his bait. Carotio only serves his own interests. Stand your ground.

Thank you for your wake mod. Nice work to all!!!:up::up:

Just a thought, but high-resolution textures will affect framerates. Just a suggestion, you may consider making a second version as "standard resolution" (reducing texture sizes by half). In doing so, more people can enjoy the mod.

Two versions... easy as pie! :shucks:

I strongly beg -for the benefit of this forum- that everybody follows the example and takes things easy and sportsman-like as Jaketoox did.

Carotio, I'm not going to comment or judge your post, but I must direct you to discuss this per PM with KL. No matter what past issues are between you both, I know he is a honourable man and will attend any founded and reasonably presented claim. Throwing a glove at his face in public will in turn probably not make things easier.

Now please everybody stay on topic; I will have some PMs with some people here and clarify matters.

Thanks

Well done Duval....I'm sorry but I just didn't have the spare time/capacity.http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...s/thumbsup.gif

@Oneshot/Onekil....yes, just enable via JSGME. http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...ies/pirate.gif

Thanks jim.

Hitman 03-31-09 07:18 AM

All right, there had been a misunderstanding between Desga and Duval, now it is explained and nothing happened with bad intentions. In the first post of this thread credit and thanks are given to Jaketoox, so that matter is already solved.

Thanks all and now enjoy the mod :salute:
