Remarkable build and I'm glad you came back to show the finished model. I'm in complete awe. Want to hazard a guess at how many hours you spent on it?

I estimate the hours at about 500.

So how much do you think you spent on building the kit, with all the extras?

Great job on recreating a worn and tired warrior in the U boat you put together. This boat looks like it just came in from a long patrol. It's obvious you put a lot of time into this and hard to imagine a better job and example of a war weary U boat. Might this be a recreation of U-552 commanded by Erich Topp ?
