I cant remember if they had price on them, but I got them through Steam as they
are in my library. :hmmm: BTW, the pack I mentioned is on sale for 12,49 euros on Steam. EDIT: Oh, GTA 1 and 2 have no price on Steam. |
They gave them away for free ages ago.

Edit: nevermind. I see when adding them to the cart, they seem to lose their price. Pretty confusing, though, that they show such high price on the store. A bug perhaps, or then they are automatically bundled in the collection pack, which is 50€. |
BTW, Hitman Absolution is going cheap on Steam ($10).

I wouldn't mind it otherwise, but the save game feature is indeed just so over the top it's absurd. "Oh, you don't want to play through an impressively long game on one go? Well, you need a Windows Live account for that. Not to be confused with your Microsoft account, which you first have to create and then make it into a Live account." At least they got rid of that monstrosity called "Rockstar Social club" in one patch or another. And you can run GTA 4 without Steam on the background, unlike, say, New Vegas. It's just the moronic Live that keeps bugging you. And don't even get me started on not finding Mass Effect 3 on Steam, because noooooooo, having just one stupid third party client on your computer is not enough: if you want our game, you must install our stupid third party client too. |

Been there, Done that.
With SSFIV:AE booted up and had to go through all that hassle of turning that old hotmail account into a live and then Xbox account. I could play without but none of my progress would then be saved. It was a pleasant reminder of why I stayed away from games in the shop that said ''Game for Windows Live'' HunterICX |
That and getting your assistance kicked online :D
|
Which made it all...not worth it :rotfl2:

You know, you can usually just make simple offline accounts for windows live to save your progress. No registration, email addresses or anything. Just don't loose your offline profile or you can kiss your save games goodbye (many save games are encrypted by your wlive profile for some stupid reason).

Humble bundle once again - they're now doing a weekly bundle. :yeah:
Now to piss off everyone as you'll already have them - for just $1 you can get Red Orchestra 1/2, for $2.91 (this may vary) you also get the Killing Floor. http://www.humblebundle.com/weekly Six days, three hours and 42 minutes remaining. OK, I've just bought them for $3 (£2.05), but I've already got RO and RO2 - anybody want these Steam keys? :hmmm: |
