Is there something new that has been added to this Or is the 1.04 been incorperated in this ?

I dunno. However, considering all the problems we've had with AI subs drawing the wrong textures and parts from player subs and viceversa... I'm afraid to remove them.

AI subs are a MESS to get sorted.

For instance, we've incorporated an entirely new .dat file for the new AI subs we've got coming... and one or two textures from stock SH3 that are located in this new dat... get plastered onto the player sub. You would think that the fix would be a simple hex-edit... but it appears this is not so...

Ergo the workaround is to just replace the textures in the new .dat with the texture files from the player sub... so you wind up with what should be in the first place.:doh:

Nutz I tell ya.

At least we've got it so that conning towers aren't being swapped around like in past pre-release problems that surfaced.

Just wondering if any of you guys can help......I wrote a GWX multiplayer mission for wpl stats, using a Type VIIB Submarine ( year 1941 ) There is NO AA Gun on a 1941 VIIB Sub...Is this a bug or is there something missing in the unit files or was the AA gun removed from 1941 onwards .....? Thanks for your help.

Yes the VIIB should have a DG then
Sure a later one wasnt chosen ?
43 onwards ?

@ BBW......Checked mission date.....11th November 1941....No AA Gun for the Type VIIB....Yes it as a Deckgun......Also in the mission there are two Type VIIC...Both have deckguns and both have AA Guns.....Weird to say the least...And yes when selecting type of U-Boat the boat chosen was Type VIIB Year 1941....Anyway thanks for your help.
