Webster's Better Subs for v1.4 and v1.5 =============================================== =============================================== first off, this mod has nothing to do with realism and it is purely for improving game play. i made a few small changes to the subs speed ratios so you get a little more balanced speeds for each engine setting. this did not change the subs engine speed at all, it only changes the percentage of power it gets in each setting so the setting speeds change but not the subs overall speeds. changes made to the subs engine power settings: [EngineProperties] AllStop=0.00 AheadSlow=0.20 <<< lowered from 0.40 AheadOneThird=0.40 <<< lowered from 0.57 AheadStandard=0.60 <<< lowered from 0.80 AheadFull=0.80 <<< lowered from 0.94 AheadFlank=1.00 BackSlow=-0.20 <<< lowered from -0.26 BackStandard=-0.40 BackFull=-0.60 <<< raised from -0.53 BackEmergency=-0.80 <<< raised from -0.66 This mod works for both v1.4 and v1.5 of the game, if any conflicts show up with other mods then just install this mod last and overwrite any files. Install info: As with all my mods, this mod is jsgme ready and it includes a read me file. Open the downloaded zip file and then open the mod folder. Inside the read me will tell you about the mod and the folder next to it is the actual mod itself. that is the folder you need to put into jsgme. if the mod has more than one version then just choose the one you wish to use or the one that was made for your game version. enjoy! webster
