Installation:
Given the number of radio message mods currently released this mod is unfortunately not JSGME ready.
Add these messages to your current message file by:
1. Opening the 'Lehmann Intl News'.txt file
2. Select all
3. Copy
4. Open your existing Data\Campaigns\Campaign\messages_en.txt file
5. Paste
The mod will add Lehmann Intl News to your \Data\Campaigns\Campaign\messages_en.txt file - I recommend making a backup of this file before enabling the mod. I have deconflicted with GWX but if you are using other mods you may end up with duplicated messages.
Background:
This mod is based on a request from Kpt. Lehmann for a mod that will give radio messages to inform you of events during WW2.
Content:
The mod contains 351 radio messages that describe historical events and give quotes. They will be received by your U-boat as radio intercepts from Lehmann International News.
Credits:
Kpt. Lehmann - had the original idea and supplied historical information. Without him there would be no GWX, and without GWX there would be no mods.
Beery - wrote the original 'NewsMod' for SH3 Commander and the historical info included in it.
JScones - adapted 'Newsmod' for inclusion in SH3 Commander.
war-2.net/famous-quotes/famous-quotes-index.htm - historical quotes. http://www.ww2incolor.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1946 - historical quotes.
In memoriam:
The Allied soldiers, sailors and airmen who fought for our freedom during the Second World War. Lest we forget...
Finally, if you like this mod or have any comments, good or bad, please let me know on the forums - feedback, whether positive or negative, is always welcome.
