This mod gives a new, fully historic look to the compass, directly copied from U-505's compass. It simply consists of a new set of graphics for the existing slide out compass. Since only the graphics are replaced, the functionality remains exactly the same and no incompatibilities are caused with other mods. The new graphics can be used will all mods the older compass was already compatible with.
THIS MOD DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SLIDE OUT COMPASS, ONLY THE REPLACEMENT GRAPHICS. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE COMPASS (ALL GWX USERS HAVE IT) IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!!!
/////////////// 2.- HOW TO USE: ///////////////
The outer wheel (rotable) shows the current situation of the earth's magnetic North and correspondly, all the rest of bearings. You can select a new course by clicking with left mouse on the outer wheel: A red line will appear (Which you can drag to the desired course) and once you let the cursor loose, the Boat will come to that new heading (As long as it is advancing of course).
The inner wheel (fixed, will not rotate) represents your U-Boat heading and bearings. 0 is the bow of your U-Boat, 5 the stern, 2,5 starbord, 7,5 backbord, and so on. Your current course therefore will always be marked in the outer wheel by the 0 in the inner one. The strage division seems to be because of procedures in the Navy, where compass roses are often divided in "quarters" or any other customary division that represents a part of the compass. In some Navies that is 8, degrees, in others like the german one this seems to be 3,6 degrees (360º/100 divisions).

JGSME ready, drop it into your "Mods" folder and enable as usual.
FLB Sale for the original idea, none of his work has been used here, as the graphics were created from scratch.
Me, for the rest of the job.
