Navigation Map Make-Over Version 2.0 with Canals and Optional Airbases
The purpose of this mod is to make the Navigation Map more useful and informative than the stock version.
NMMO is a combination of several different mods plus some modifications of my own. The most obvious change is the land has much more terrain detail.
Version 2.0 has additional tweaks and modifications to the navigation map. Over the last several months, I have been refining the navigation map.
-Reworked zoom levels of some labels to prevent labels running into each other as much as possible.
(Screen resolution will affect this).
-Standardized all typefaces and fonts for all the various map labels, (Oceans, Seas, Gulfs, Straits, etc.).
-Reworked map “noise” and “dirt” textures to better represent the look of an actual paper map.
-Added additional labels of various types to the map that I felt were significant enough to add.
My overall vision for this mod is to make the navigation map a more useful tool. I hope you enjoy using it.

Concerning the Nav-Map;
First of all, As I mentioned on the 1.1 thread, I love this map (1.1) and hope I never have to play without it. That aside, I tried using 2.0, 1.2 (with the patch? not sure if the patch loaded correctly) however, I get CTD's with 1.2 and 2.0.
Do these work with Stock 1.4?? I am finishing a career in 1.4 so I am waiting on the 1.5 upgrade (as you know I can't use previous save files from 1.4 after upgrading to 1.5) so, I will be happy to use the 1.1 nav map for now but was wondering if all the map versions are supposed to work in 1.4 !? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I love the look of the 2.0 version.

Well,
I can't delete my previous entry so I'll say that the 2.0 map is up and looking/working great.
Love this map. I'm into eye candy with this game so I've got lots of stuff loaded up and this is one of those mods I'll never play the game without.
