Installation still!!

Worked out all my direct x probs and have good drivers now. As for the game start. With cd 1 in drive there is not even a play button to click. With disc 2 in there is a play button but of course nothing happens when i click it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 10 times now and am at a dead end will dl the patch and see what happens. ANymore ideas would be great. Thanks

Do a search in your registry for Sub Command and delete all entries. Then attempt to reinstall.

Try disabling your virus protection while you install the game.

I didnt have any virus protection running but I did the disc defrag and all that and the patch finally did the trick. Until I did the defrag the patch would quit at the exe. file Im good. Thanks all

I'm sure the patch means you can play SC without disc in CD/DVD rom drive.
