:salute: Ahoi!

What we do now? Actually we work on our 3D Engine for a Smartphone Subsim (not really a perfect Subsim, but a subsim). We hope to finish the engine this summer.

Nearby the next litte smartphone game is going on. The ultimate Wargame - Tic Tac Toe :yep:

If you like it please rate our Battleship Game lite or full version. So we get some Feedback because for us it is important to have no adds in the game.

:arrgh!:

If you like it please rate our Battleship Game lite or full version.

Bump - come on guys, the lite version is free, try it and rate it (highly) for this guy.

Cost to you = two minutes of time!

Then, once you're suckered in, buy the full version for pennies! :yeah:

This stuff looks great!

As a mobile developer, I'm excited about subsims on mobile devices. I think there's a market for hardcore sims on devices like tablets, and can't wait to see them start coming out. Perhaps when I have enough spare time I'll start working on my own. :)

I'm curious what kind of engine you guys are using for your battle ship game. I'm assuming you guys didn't do a complete port of the game for each platform?

Thanks PD!

You're right, we don't develop independently for each platform. We use a great tool called Monkey (http://www.monkeycoder.co.nz) which is a funny name but behind the scene it's a very powerful cross compiler. You can output the following targets: HTML5, Flash, Windows Exe, Mac, iPhone/iPad, Windows Phone 7, XNA, Android.

We are still working on a update version for the game.
You can choose the enhanced mode for a different gameplay with mines, bomber attack, salvo mode and 2 player game over bluetooth, improved graphics and sound.

We bring you that directly on your phone via the update function.

:salute: so much fun!

The game mode is ready. Please update your game or download it.
You get: Bomber attack, salvo mode, better A.I., Mines, improved graphics and sound and much more.

Multiplayer comes with the next update :arrgh!:

Have fun!

I came across this post a several weeks ago and have been wanting to try this out. Especially since they (the coders) are posting here at Subsim. So I finally have a chance to try this but couldn't remember the name of the game. I just spent three hours going over posts to find this one. Downloading now to my Nook Color running CyanogenMod 3.2 (Gingerbread). I need to update to ICS

K, it's downloaded, ... gotta go try it out.

Greetings! :salute:

Sung,

Love the game, bought the PRO. Much more difficult with the hex than a straight vert/horiz approach.

On a side note, I've been trying to get to your web page, ... it redirects from www.codeknitters.com (http://www.codeknitters.com), then nothing.

Also, I have a few suggestions for improved gameplay if you don't mind.
First, I notice I'm always the first player. Can you put a toggle in the options to allow alternate, or always last, or perhaps loser goes first next round? I find it a great advantage going first against AI.
Second, can you put a long tap in the gameplay on a point already targeted to remove the target? I accidentally pick a spot or bump the screen on a spot I don't want to target, but too late.
Thirdly, can you add one more character to the AI, an extremely difficult to beat AI character, Wolfrich perhaps? Out of the 60 plus games I've played so far, I've lost only twice ... to James no less.
Fourth, can you allow the user to put in their own name rather than going by 'Jack'? This would be beneficial for the next suggestion too.
Fifth, can you add the option of dual player on the same phone/tablet? My 7 year old wants to play against me :) . No phone for her yet and likely not for another 7 years.
Sixth, is it possible to allow two screen sizes, the one you currently have for phones, and another, larger, more tight-fit for tablets - a 7in screen size? Put a toggle in the options, then users on a phone can have the larger screen size too. If it's too small for them, they can then go back to the options and toggle it off. You can add an Aircraft Carrier to the larger screen size selection.
Seventh, with the revenue count going on in the game, perhaps you can have a marathon type tournament. When you collect enough revenue, you can buy extra shots, or another bomber run, or a futuristic weapon (laser) that will shoot a total length of 5 hexes, or an ICBM launched from the sub.

Anyway, just throwing idea's out. ... this is a bit long, ... I should have PM'd you huh?

Finally Hasbro forced us to rename our game. :wah: :haha:

So now it's called Sea Battle. Well anyway, the point is we actually work on a 3d submarine game right now which will be available for Android/iPhone/iPad and probably for Windows PC and Mac. :) Will keep you up to date as soon as we have something to show! :salute:

Xaron, I am wondering where the "battleship" or now "Sea Battle" has gone?
I purchased the "Battleships" before you were forced to rename it, then when I rebuilt my phone, I went back to google play and it was gone. I don't even have it in my purchased files.
My current search for "Sea Battle" and for "Codeknitters" does not show the game anywhere.
