Have you asked for approval from Liliput and Vaa to convert there stuff to SH4? The guys are capable to do that themselves and probably have their own ideas for the conversion and specific views on their ships as part of SH4.

There should be no problem with useing them but I'm not
positive as I can barely run SH4. :nope:

There does appear to be an issue with damage and ships responce
to attacks?

What about damage models for these ships. At first I thought it might be some generic damage model, but then on one merchant I could see from one side of the ship to the other, so It must be on a per ship basis?

Most of the ships have additional objects in the dat that show damage.
So any new ships and ships from SH3 will need the same type additions.
The River is getting these objects soon to see what happens.

As I can barely run SH4, I may need a few Brave souls to run some tests.

You may be able to fix some ships then as well. Several times I have direct impact on ships show the OLD BLACK SMEAR from SH3 and not the nice looking hole of SH4. So some of the ship types may not have gotten the damage line added.

The River Class was a Silent Hunter III Ship Project Created by BBW
Finished by Privateer with a little promotion thrown in from me.
at the time that the final SHIII version came out SHIV Came out
and River Class Was Done for SHIV as Well as a Prototype for ship
conversion for the process of moving ships from shIII to shIV

so the correct answer is Yes to both there is a version for each game.

Sorry Sir, I realy don't know how old it is. I don't have the U-boat Xpack yet...<sighs>:damn: because I don't know if it is in stores now or not.
