How do I switch subs?

I’ve downloaded several missions but many of them appear to include the small 3 torpedo (Type II- A) U-boat. I thought I could just select another year and the U-Boat type would change …but it didn’t. How do I switch U-boat types on these missions? Playing with only 1/2dozen torpedoes doesn’t go very far.

You should be able to change subs on the mission selection screen
and have them show up.

On the list at the bottom when your choosing the mission.

Yes I did that but I did not go down the list far enough. I was only going to the year but I didn't notice that the actual type of sub was also listed. I thought just going to the year would change the sub and wasn't noticing that there was a list of different subs in each year. Thanks for helping me to see my options better. Now it woks and I can get more enjoyment out of the missions.
