Default Gamma Setting

Hi,

Quickly again, can someone tell me how many spaces between the word GAMMA and the ''0.8'' in the Config file (if it makes any difference anyway - in terms of how many spaces).

Thanks

P.S. and I know it can differ from one system to another (between 0.5 and 0.8)

I have a Laptop LCD, any suggestion?
Is it better to go by the Display (option that I don't really like)

A recap that may help newcommers also :

Use the 'NB PC monitor check' bmp attached to TimmyG00s 'Tacman' manual (SubGuru) -
enter 'Display Properties' and adjust the gamma settings so that the faint NB traces
become as clear as possible. In practise I find that brightness and contrast must
also be carefully adjusted to achieve a balance that you can live with.

Name these settings and save them. My 'rig' allows me to swap between the high gamma
and 'normal' settings by returning to the desktop during a game and so reducing eyestrain.

Thanks again to TimmyG00 for floating this extremely valuable tip for success.
