Neal, can you please recheck your PM's?
I'm planning a change of avatar to celebrate 1000 posts, if that's OK with you...
Further info in the PM, I don't want to ruin the surprise...

I don't know how the poor guy even has time to respond to posts here when he constantly has to read so many PM's. It seems like a very unenviable position.

Nothing personal Sir BJ.

I literally spend 2 hours a night answering e-mail, fixing forum problems, refereeing fights between mod makers, PMing members who are pushing forum decor, updating webpages... and that doesn't touch the time doing reviews, articles, comms with dev teams, and overall web, forum, server, and database maintenance. I hate to say "I'm pretty busy" because it sounds lame and tends to discourage people from thinking they can contact me. But, I am loaded down.

And it looks like attendance in the forums has about doubled in the last month. Last time that happened, it was because a magazine published an article and mention subsim.com I didn't learn about that until a few weeks later, was wondering where all the extra people came from Anyone read a periodical lately that mentioned Subsim?

I think many people who have retired from here received the SHIV dev team email, and decided to check it out. I saw like 400 people in the SHIV forum alone the night that the newsletter was sent out!
