Moin Moin,

AOTD released today there new Update for the AOTD-Modpack !

Download for the light Version ( 70 mb )

!!! ONLY FOR INSTALLATION WITH SILENT HUNTER III VERSION 1.4B and AOTD-Modpack V2 ( V2.01, V2.02, V2.03 )!!!

Readme of Update for "Aces of the Deep Modpack version 2.1" (this package is DUTY for all the members of AOTD)

This modpack contains litle changes of graphic and audio datas of Silent Hunter 3. Furthermore some mistakes of the game's translation into German and some little bugs have been fixed. Both Silent Hunter 3's single player mode and multiplayer mode have been deeply increased by some useful and interesting changes. New ships, new planes and fully equipped submarines are available in pretty new missions now.
The package includes all updates and fixes from the Versions 2.01, 2.02, 2.03 !

Hi Hoschi,

Tried out the new AOTD-modpack 2.1 and found the battery, compressed air and CO2 gauges not working. They show a grey needle that doesn't move. Is there an easy fix?

Hmmm, that is not normal !
You mean the instruments of the LI, right ? Not the Instruments in the Zentral or other rooms!

It happens when I click on the Chief Engineer (CE) icon, then click "Reports". I checked again and all four gauges are grey. I've been using a Type VIIc U-Boot. The only mods I'm using are AOTD 1.2 and SHIII Commander. I'm at a loss to know why it happens. Hope you guys find a fix or maybe it's something I did. Anyway...luv AOTD!

Same thing is happening for me - when I click on the link, I get an error page (Object Not Found). Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

AOTD may have a new website, not sure though. I know their website may look down but I was able to get to their page from a different link. It brought up a different page which I had to log in. Don't know if this helps.

HI Mast,

we have test this and there is no prob here ! Yesterday was time for our OnlineCampagne and i have spoke with many peoples over this prob. All say that there grey needle move ! At the moment i have no fix for that, sorry.
What realism settings do you play ?

To download the Modpack do you must be login to our Forum and then looking in our Database ( thats new )

Am I the only one with grey needles that don't move? Earlier versions of AOTD work and the needles are black. Strange!

Default Big Apology!

Hi Hoschi,

I owe you and AOTD clan an apology. Everything works fine. I must be blind. Starting a new campaign and saw that the grey needles do work. 2 things - I just assumed that since the needles were grey, that they didn't work and I was in single missions getting a feel for the new mod and didn't see any movement of the needles. So big apology! To answer your last question which I just noticed, I'm not at a 100% realism yet. Still luv looking at my U-boot. Yea...I know...but luv the eye candy.
Must be my pickled brain cells. :rotfl:

I tried to register at the forum, but I don't speak German and couldn't understand some of the otpions with which I was presented. And when I had a look at the forums themselves, I couldn't figure out the content of most of the posts either. What can I do?
