Default Problems using the Screenshots CTRL+F11

Kaleuns:
I've been using the Kegetys d3d9 res fix, the one that has an install batch file to run SH3 in widescreen mod, but the thing is that this fix kills the use of the screenshots feature, it says that screenshots can be taken using the PrtScr button in TGA format, but all I get when I try this is CTD.
Any ideas or possible solutions?
Thank a lot for your help

Thanks for the reply.
i did all that, what I can't go through is the fact that every time I press PrtScr, I get a CTD.
I will be waiting for more ideas.
Thanks again

Hi mates,

we had this discussion in the German forum "Marinesims" too!

I prefer PICPICK!

Besides the fact it is available in different languages it gives the possibilities of setting the key(-combination) for the Screenshot, filename, type, folder. Furthermore there are tools like a colour-picker, rulers and more...

But there is one important setting for sh3.exe with Win7:
Rightclick it, choose Settings - Compatibility - and enable the 4th at Settings: "Disable Desktop Design" (or similar - got a German W7/64 here).

And the best of all: IT'S FREE!

Regards
Blueduck

Thanks blueduck for the reply. Fraps has many options locked, like format, etc, so I will give this one a try.
