Cheers? Yeah, that was a great show.

But, yes, I like Hogan's Heroes too.

I liked Hogan's Heroes, but I think it's far from being the "best sitcom ever".

Pay no attention to these heathens. Hogans Heroes is quality 1960's TV.

My favorite WW2 "sitcoms" from days gone by...

Hogan's Heroes
and
Baa Baa Black Sheep

Throw in some 80's Beavis and Butthead and I could watch TV all week.

Well, it's not the best show ever but it was surely entertaining.

Well, he's biased.

As well he should be.

There were so many great TV shows back in those days it's hard to believe that there were only a handful of channels.

One WW2 show that hasn't been mentioned yet is Rat Patrol. When I was seven years old I would have given my right arm for one of those cool Foreign Legion Kepi's. Of course now that i'm older though I'd rather have one of those jeeps with the .50 cal mount.

Not a sitcom, but since Rat Patrol and Black Sheep were mentioned. Another show I thought was pretty good was 'Combat'
