Hello, I just installed Commander and seem to have it up and running, Im pretty sure I have my game path set up correctly. But...
when I go to start a new career using Commander, I set up which flotilla I want, what year and month and all that stuff. Then I hit launch SH3. I go to career and I see my Kaleun's name, Click on it, go to new career. It says my starting date, year and flotilla. I hit start. But now it says I have a IIA instead of the VIIB which i selected through commander. I also start in 1939 instead of 1941. My briefing says which Grid to patrol, and a little information about whats happening in the month I am starting in. What is going on? Also I noticed my NewInterior mod wasnt, so I am a little worried my other mods arent working too (didnt stay in game long enough to find out). I am using GWX3.0, current mods are- 16km Atmosphere Alternative Flotillas Late War Sensors and Snorkels Lite Harbor Traffic No Medals on Crew FM_NewInterior_V1.0 Thanks TF77 ![]() (I am on Windows Vista running game as administrator) (Using Steam version) |

When you click on your kaleun's name in career menu, a new screen will come for selecting the starting year and flottila. Select the year and the flottila you have designated in Commander. I assume you skip that part. |

Also in that screen that comes up in the game menu when you load a career - the one that shows the choices for starting time and flotilla?
Above the places where you can choose different times and flotillas/bases, you'll see text (inserted by Commander) that will show you what time and flotilla you pre-selected in Commander. Just make sure that what you select matches it and you shouldn't go wrong. Commander can't force the game to give you the starting date and flotilla you pre-selected in Commander, you still have to select those things in the game itself in order for the game to comply. But by telling Commander ahead of time what your choices are going to be, you let Commander know which of its date/flotilla-dependent options to deploy when it launches the game for you. |
