Its been to long since Ive played my most recent career, although still alive in '41, immersion has failed me. Therefor Id like to start a new one, perhaps in a more 'peculiar' ao, such as in the Black sea. Has anyone an opinion or and intel on the pro's con's of such an endeavor, or should i stay in the atlantic.

I'm a Type II enthusiast, so I tried it.
I didn't stay for all that long, but your transit to patrolling area is very short, your threat level stays relatively high, positively identifying all merchants and warships is a must, and your patrol areas are very "flexible" One of the cons is that you don't get confirmation of being in your patrol area, you just have to know where you are... it's almost a type II heaven... :P
