cant get past Jan 44 for some reason

get booted off after returning to base message, no matter what I try. Ive re installed several times. may be the game itself, since my crew from the bridge screen still dosent show their binoculars in hand and extreem close map view doesnt show the piers and docks in the harbor. I have to navigate out from the bridge to get to the main chanels before I can go to map to draw a course.

Yeah either a mod conflict (most likely) or a corrupt installation.
