Post your UBoat emblems here

I thought it may be interesting for us to post our Uboat emblems here.
Only problem is 'I' don't know how to do it...yet.
If any of the emblems are not to be found in GWX3 or the stock game could you please provide a link to where you found it?

The current one I am using is the green Kraken octopus pulling the ship under, but may change to the trident, but i'm not happy with the image quality of it and need to find a good alternative.

Take a screenshot with Ctrl+F11. Go to www.photobucket.com and open and account. It's free, and they'll show you how to create an album and upload your pictures. From there it's a simple copy-and-paste.

Early war Type II wearing the official emblem of the 1st Flotilla.

I have this magpie as an emblem on all my boats.

Editing TGA files is not difficult at all. One just needs a graphic editor, like GIMP for instance and a TGA file from SH3 with an emblem. I cleared the old emblem and pasted a picture of the new one and resized it so that the size of the file didn't change.

(The emblem for 2 Flotilla)

(The emblem for my Kommandant/Boot)

(The crew liked our "Valkyrie Boot" emblem so much they had little emblems made for their caps. Isn't that the cutest thing? )

I bet the seamstresses were totally impressed...

But semi-seriously, never underestimate the power of a unified fashion statement. Coordination is the order of the day and it always pays to look the part.

The viking ship.
It's only barely visible in F7, but "it's the principle".

Yeah it is - for the enemy! On a more serious note, it would not be such a bad idea to make an emblem with two magpies

There's a boat load (no pun intended) of skins available from my FF site (link above my sig) but my favourite in IX terms is that one above.

Tis a nice well worn/weathered look IMHO.
