Default Does anyone know how to fix this?

Basically when I use the freecam and I get really high in the sky, a foggy sphere appears all around me. I can only see in a little circle of area, like I'm the center of the circle and I can only see a certain radius away from my viewpoint. Everything beyond that, the sea and land appears foggy.

Is there a setting in Cameras.dat for this? Or Scene.dat? I am running a powerful comp, and I want to see all. I have 20km atmosphere

This particular file is that you know, a crucial factor in this, "that scene.dat".....so mess with this, may be unwanted consequences....

I put in Thomsen's Water v4 and it fixed it.

Is Thomsen's Water 20k atmosphere?

Tamper with the scene.dat at your peril

Very good, I've run it on 8 and 16k with no issues so I'm glad to hear it's working at this range as well.

Is Thomsen's V4 20k? I'm not sure but the earth radius in the scene.dat of the mod is 999999999 or something, so I'm thinking its 20k.

IIRC Thomsen's water was originally designed as an addendum to the OLC environment. (Meaning you had to have the one in order to add the other). Then when GWX 3.0 came along it incorporated the OLC environment so Thomsen's water could be safely added to either the 'stock' 8 km or optional 16 km atmospheres.

With this in mind, and based on the age of the mod, I don't think it is a legit 20k. Then again I could be wrong, so let's see if someone else has something more to add.

No, Thomsen´s Water is definitely 16km atmosphere !!! And the earth radius has nothing to do, whether is 8km, 16km or 20km atmosphere ! The earth radius sets only the earth curvature !

Best regards,
Magic
