Default Little help required

Hello!
April 1940 So I have this 20 ship konvoi there. Everything is fine, sunk 2 warships and few merchants. I want to sink 2 destroyers that are left, but there is also a S class submarine there and she is super hard or unsinkable, what the hell? I mean I punched her with type 9 gun below waterine quite few times NOTHING. Ok I did it again , torpedo this time. Scored a hit on the propellers and nothing she is still going onward and shooting at me, even the propellers are still functional. So my question is, you can't sink an enemy submarine ? Or she requires a salvo !?

I play GWX with few other mods like ACM GUI modded by h.sie , Merchant Fleet Mod, TMT2 and such. But no ship mods except Merchant Fleet. Weird that I don't have the submarine in the rec book

My guess is he's playing GWX....there is no S-Class in stock/vanilla.

The S-Class can be a little difficult to sink but sink she will.

Well then that's the strongest ship in the game (for it's size) I believe 10 shots from 10,5mm dec gun or 1 magnetic torpedo in the propellers (wich still were kicking)

see if you can hit one dead center with an impact torp. Usually works for me, but it will stay afloat for a while after the hit.

Too bad Because of her I have to re sink the 2 destroyers and corvette. I'm using only manual targeting so it's not that easy to be redone. I was wery unlucky. First - 2 power surges , then that damn S class boat won't sink and she is packing some serious damage , almost sunk me when we had a 18 century battle

The S-Class is a cruel joke inserted by the GWX team, who in all other respects are wonderful people (may their tribe increase!).

It is a bear to sink, carries little renown, and is crewed by the past 22 recipients of the Royal Navy Gunnery School Gold Medal (backstopped by 31 silver medalists and assorted bronzes), all of whom are ill-tempered. They can hit you with the deck gun from 10,000 meters, which is over the horizon!

So if you are duking it out with one, and are still afloat, you are one lucky camper.

This is strange. I play GWX 99% External for seeing results only.

Iset torp a shallowist setting and hit it amidships. 1 torp and sink it every time if 3 times counts.

Always catch it west of Brest. After first time I go thru that area submerged and at silent running. 1kt.

Enemy subs are considered enviromental objects by the game so there aren't on the rec manual.

And YES S-class subs can go down but the renown credited is not worth nor the effort neither the ammo used.

Just in case anyone is interested, the S Class is worth 320 renown.

VONHARRIS
Yes it's not worth it , but that was the last thing holding the konvoi for me And the entire konvoi of 22-24 ships is down 6 warships on the konvoi, 1 southampton , 2 black swans, 1 C&D, 1 Flower and the submarine. Way over 100k tons
