Haven't tried the periscope yet, but in the UZO every time I click to change from mouse movement back to just the pointer, it automatically fires a torpedo... Anyone know what's causing this? It has been fine until today.
I searched, but couldn't find anything in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks EDIT: NEVER MIND. Had to do with resolution at 1920x1080... Found it right after I posted. Last edited by TBR600; 06-05-11 at 02:32 PM. Reason: Found solution |

It's because of the resolution mod apparently... You can do the above to disable the buttons leaving only CTRL+Enter to fire or just Enter in stock SH3. Which is somewhat annoying... but oh well. |

I'm not sure, what I ended up doing was setting it to 1600x900 instead of 1920x1080. That worked for me... I just couldn't get used to not being able to press the "fire" button.

As was said, the hi-res mod causes this problem. What happens is when you click out of the periscope or UZO the mouse re-appears on the screen just where the fire button is, causing a firing of a torpedo.
Since I wanted to run at my monitor's native resolution, what I did instead was install a mod that moved the fire button. There are many mods that re-do the periscope/uzo screen to choose from. Steve |
