Has it occurred to anyone else that the collected wisdom and ongoing projects in here rival or beat the SDK or the ability of UbiSoft itself as far as this simulation goes? It keeps getting better and better here, while the products of SH3 - SH4 - SH5 seem to be going the other way? I am constantly astounded at the depth this simulation is reaching (pun intended! LOL!).

Yes and no.
Yes, modders have taken SH3 far beyond what the developers anticipated, and are making things happen that five years ago most were saying were impossible. No, because there are still bugs that have never been fixed and features which could be made better or altered entirely with the SDK. On the other hand, at its core SH5 has gone so far beyond what is possible with SH3 that having that SDK would be much more useful. Even SH4 would benefit more.

Even if we were to get the SDK for SH3 it would probably be worthless because of all the changes implemented over the previous five years.
