Personal Questions
Hey all
So by now I have put around 100 hours of playtime but there still questions and I was hoping I could get some help.- I see that when you are in the world map, on the top left there is a square that says Total Germany, the date and a few crosses (around 6 small and 2 big ones), then I see that each mission has different crosses too as you request them, so I'm assuming that as you finish missions, those values go up to fill in the 8 crosses, now the questions is, I have finished around 4 missions already, in the right side of the screen at the top there is the icon for the map, then the icon for the crew and then a hat, when I click on the hat, in that menu a little bit above the middle to the left it tells you if the mission is complete or not, when every time I went back to base, the mission said complete but I was never credited for in that square "Total Germany"...is that how it works?
- Warships are hard to hit, they see my torp (steam) coming and they accelerate and my torp passes by their behind, so I started shooting a little bit in front of them using TDC off, but still I don't hit them, out of 20 shots I hit around 2 only. Are there any tricks?
- Can't seem to get a hit with TDC on even though I put in the speed, range, etc. With TDC off I have to align the solution 1 with 1, or 3 with 3 etc and that's what I'm using and I'm good, but is there a formula or mod that I can work out some math and not be matching numbers, just fire in X heading and forget about it. When I played Flight Simulator I would do some math and I was able to calculate my travel time and fuel, anyway that I can do that with torps, I know that if I spend a day I can come up with a formula or spreadsheet, but I'm trying to avoid that.
- Is there a way to be able to run the diesel engine underwater?
- Is it possible to shoot torps from 30 meters deep or so when below periscope and not having to come up to periscope depth, I had a destroyer close by the other day and could have blown her out of the water, but I had to stop the party in the boat and let her pass by.
- Sonar, is that option in the game where I can send pin and get range and position of a target?
I'll like to master this game and those are my few questions that I can't figure out.
Thanks
