Default AvP Classic 2000 on steam

On steam for a couple of bucks ($4:99), Rebellion put an updated version that will play on modern pcs just before their release of AVP 3, probably old news to most.

Why would you want to play a 10 yr old game when AVP 3 is out. Well for me anyways AvP 1 is still the best of the series, just finished the marine & Predator in training mode and going to try them in directors cut. One thing they added is unlimited saves now, (you can disable unlimited saves). This game still does it for me like it did 10yrs ago, playing as the marine my favorite out of the 3 - paranoid as hell, always checking my six, spamming those flares, moving around with my back to the wall & now cause i can I'm saving every 60 seconds

Sounds - 10
Game-play - 10+
Multi-player - yes
Graphics - Damn good for its age.

Bugs - well not a bug but I found when playing the Alien hes way to squishy. The predator got stuck in corners a few times could of just been me when running away from the hordes of aliens lol. In one level of the predator the aliens just don't stop coming but the Predator has the spear gun, taking them out is a breeze till i ran out of ammo that is, once i got my melee fighting right I pretty much was king of the level... till a tiny face hugger owns me

some guy playing the Marine

Aye, got it few days before the release of AvP3. Love the survivor mode in MP, especially the bunker map is great (or stranded, anywho the out doors map with the bunker in the far end).

For some reason, I couldn't get past the 1st alien mission, it wouldn't end.

The 1st alien lvl is really annoying are you sure you found the end? I got lost so many times that i kind of gave up and randomly ran anywhere till i came to this dark room dropped off it and the lvl ended. Read on the steam forms the multiplayer patch caused issues for some in single player.

Yes that bunker map in multiplayer Only moan i have about multi player is i can't go dedicated host setup and play with a mate. Some are trying to get the devs to put in achievements, that would work as this game is re-playable over and over. Whether the devs would add it in the game is another thing.

Yeh, I'm sure I found the exit, I've played the game thru a dozen times in the past so can pretty much remember every level when I see them.
