Re-Supply Problem with GWX

I'm currently on a longish patrol that took me past the 'Corrientes' in the Canary Islands in 1940 in a type IXB. Great I thought - I'll call in there on the way home and re-fuel etc. I don't need to, I just wanted to see how it worked and what happened.

From the GWX manual I was expecting all functionality during the re-supply except upgrades. What I actually found was that I could do very little. I'll try to summarise:

Before leaving the commanders (Logs) desk after docking, I could only select U-boat aces, Career History and Patrol History. So couldn't distribute medals etc.

Once I left this desk, then I could only access New Patrol, Exit door, Options desk and Crew Filing Cabinet. Couldn't get back to commanders desk or select U-boat desk.

I initially tried steaming to within a couple of km of the Corrientes and exit etc, then just iniside 25 km. Both had the same effect.

I'm running GWX3/gold with the following mods

Waterstream+Exhaust Combi V2.3 for GWX3
Torpedo damage Final ver2.0
Pascals Smoke and Splash Mod
Foam
Flags_enlighten
No continuous 'Ship spotted' V1.2 for GWX3
MaGui 3
SH-5 Water for GWX 3.0 V0.8 Atlantic campaign
Sobers 3D waves
TMT v2
Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg

Now I'm not too concerned for this patrol, but for future patrols to the states etc this might become more irritating. I was re-fueled and all eels replaced. I'm guessing all medals will be lost and maybe the renown too.

Anybody got any suggestions?
