I did switched back to sound card cause onboard sound allowed me to cheat. It makes a constant noise that pitch changes every time the CPU does its work. When i did turn my sonar then those changes in tone pitch allowed me to detect ships WAY before game did it any way!
So you know, you can upgrade your virtual sonar using real life hardware... |

The CPU works harder because the game demands it. You should be the last one to know.
![]() Doesn't the distance to the targets make this cheat rather useless? |

if i am seeking enemy lone ships or convoys, i can detect them much further than normal sonar does allow to do, they won't pass undetected. That way i will shorten my patrol time cause i find ships always without hunting them around days or even weeks.
