Default Pauchenschlag patrols, catch and release the small ones

Once again the fun times return as the Dummkopf Americaneren Schwein sail their unescorted fat elephants past my eager U-Boat and right off the very place I now live, the space coast of Florida, home of the future German space program.

the targets are so juicy I no longer waste my fish on the smaller cargo or tankers. I let them go by and wait, not very long, for a better fish to fry. This is the only time in the war I let any opportunity pass as I am a believer that2,500 tons in the log book is better than 5,000 ton hoped for later.

These last three patrols netted me 250,000 tons of mostly allied tankers.

This is, however, not the standard GWX3 RND. I tried that and found convoys in early 42 (didn't happen) and destroyer pairs sweeping the sea lanes.
Now, this certainly is what the Americans should have done but based on the book Operation Drumbeat I added what mirrored the accounts in that book to recreate my version of Pauchenschlag and I must say they are now the highlight of my career.

Because I use many other ships not in GWX including 3 extra sloops (frigates) and Iambecomelife's fine merchants (but not all of them) in this RND file it would not be compatible in any other set up but mine.

It is not that hard, however, to open the mission builder and add some merchant traffic to your RND.mis file but if you have never done so before please copy the original RND.mis file and store it safely outside the game before you make any changes.
Always back up is so important to any modifying.
