Default Sneaking in to Loch Ewe

Hey,
I'm quite new to SHIII and still learning to enjoy it. I'm using GWX 3 mod. Since my last 3 patrols were rather unsuccessful ( 15k tons) I thought I'd do something unrealistic but exciting and sneak in to a port. Loch Ewe looked like big enough. What obstacles would I meet and where exactly? My little experience from the past shows that if I'd go straight in I would run into a mine or anti-sub net. It's late 1940, which would be the best way to sneak into a port?

An editied version is included in the GWX manual.

If you want to know 'exactly' what your likely to come up against at a particular time and where it is located, open up the Campaign_Scr in the Mission Editor and have a look.

Here is one thing you'll meet. In the inner part of of the harbour

And that net extends clear across the whole harbor - can't pass without surfacing.

In calm weather you can pass over it at a depth of 9m. Your tower will be above the surface so only do this if you are sure no-one is about to spot you.
