[REL] Wolfehunters U-boat IXC Standard

I was doing a clean start to the uboat textures when slowly but surely this Uboat developed. Now its not historical accurate but it looks nice. So I'm giving it to you for those who want something new and different.

Its new and hardly any rust on it. Her details are high quality. I redid every allmost every pixel with something new.
I give two versions. 1024 rez standard and 2048 super rez for those whos system can handle it.

This is an addon for IXC standard. You need the standard for this one to work.

Eye be watching you I don't know if any real subs had it but I thought it to be cool idea. Looks nice.

I think it looks stunning,love the camo,very inspired and the new textures are really very high quality work I'm a bit about the eye on the bow,very greek galley but I'm undecided if I like it or not Still going to download this cracking skin though a beauty of a skin to add to the collection

If popular vote say out with the eye. Then I will remove it. Or make a similar version. I thought it to be cool, like the boat is alive for the hunt. hehehe.

Water lush???:hmm: I used Photoshop to clear it up abit. Orginal photo was too murky. The water doesn't look like that ingame.

I like it, something different. My wife will love it. I got her started a month ago and she's currently got a Operation Petticoat paint job that she loves. Not realistic I know but it got her playing and she's having a blast.

But, on second thought, have you tried the eye at different sizes? I'm thinking larger.

Historically this Uboat isn't accurate. But who knows what uboats really had painted on there skins. Most Uboats aren't photographed or the data was lost. All a Uboat needed was a talented crew member who could paint.

More famous Uboats well that another story and I'm all for being authentic.

Anyhow I did 5 authentic Uboats one fun boat for those who want change.

Now down to business. Ok I found a small texture glitch when you upgraded the conning tower IX/3. Nothing special a small error. Orignally I didn't know what file IX/3 used untill I had fun with this skin for awhile using it in my game. IX/2 is flawless as you see above.

Nice conning details on the radar. I tryed to give is some real metal texture.

Its funny how things tend to work out. I was originally worried when I upgraded to IX/3 that [a] my texture wouldn't look great or [b] default Turm9c_2 would takeover. But I was wrong

Here you can see how nice and shock I was to find that the IX/3 works well with Turm9c files.

Well that it for now. Most likely going back to tweek my older work. I learnt alot since then. I can fix alot of small details using my newest templates.

Interesting but what happened to the original release? Or was there one?:hmm:
So I'm guessing below the water line its black as well as the saddle. I don't see any weathering. Light grey for the main colour with a darker grey for the camo right? Anyhow you tell me how you want it done and I'll do my best to mimic it. Now the only thing is I don't want to step on someones toes. So whoever did this I think [a] I need there permission and [b] If possible I could get a copy of the files to beef it up with higher quality. I work in 4096 rez. Theres alot of pixels in that:rotfl:
