je ne comprend pas pourquoi je ne peux plus copier des fichiers de mods por silent hunter 5??
Il est vrai que je me suis inscrit il a très longtemps et comme je ne comprend pas l'Anglais , il m'est difficile de répondre aux questions osées.

I have a Steam version and non Steam version installed for some reason the non steam SH5exe. with sober's mega mod installed correctly did not work. After a few hours i decided it wasn't worth anymore time so deleted it and just keeping one Steam install with Wolves of Steel mod which is more popular has a better rating and is so much more user friendly.

The Uplay download needs a fix to work with mods your Steam download is not affected.

Hi.


I'm having troubles with the mega mod. I've installed it a hundred percent correctly but I won't get the game to show me the essentials like speed and fuel in the little box like in sober's videos on the first page and also I only have 3 options on the diving bar without deck awash and crash dive.


I'd really like to have those enabled! I don't know if it's intended that way or not.

Otherwise it'S a great mod! I really like it!

That is correct.

The shafts have 2 buttons which are lit.
There is another button to the right, what happens when you press it?

I will have to come back to you on that one as the picture above does not show it but it may just be hidden and appears when the mouse is used.
sober's mega mod is very much a hands on approach for the player.
You will have a much bigger role to play for much of the game play revolves in your interaction with the crew and also you have to be hands on with the controls.
This is a very immersive game very different to TWoS where you can rely on the crew to do much of the work for you.

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner it took me all evening to sort out running a second SH5 game with the current Uplay problems and the game launcher not playing ball.
Ok the answer to your problem is quite a simple one. sober has made his game to be quite difficult, by that I mean not only has he set it up to be played at 100% realism but he has also removed from the game many of the default functions you would see for example in the TWoS mega mod.
What you need to do is install TDW's Options File Editor Viewer (OFEV) and chnage sober's settings to suit your own.
These 2 pictures answer your question inrelation to the hud.

The Heading Bar will not appear because the shafts have been relocated from their usual position.
Press C for the Compass.

Although sober has developed this game to be played at a difficult level (100% recommended) it can be played at lower levels with manual and Auto TDC by making changes to the OFEV and the Game Play settings.
If you like to be hands on rather than pushing icons to get your orders done with this game you will be working very closely with all your crew.

One big draw back when playing any of the "silentotto" later campaigns is your starting renown remains at the default value of 2000. I usually ramp this up to 20,000 so I can have the upgrades that would be around for the time period I have chosen.

download and I have the same as shown in the image"the download zip file contains 16 items" but I can not do exactly the videos for example I can not
load mod profile because I don't have the same file as in the video. I also don't have applications in the data folder.
What did I do wrong?

I can not do exactly the videos for example I can not
load mod profile because I don't have the same file as in the video.

The YouTube videos are early ones that sober made. Sober continually made updates overtime to his mega mod as you can see from some of the mods in this version is different to the videos. One mod in particular used has had 33 previous versions before settling for update 34.
I do not know which applications are missing as you do not say. The download has everything you need to run this mega mod so you must be missing, or overlooking my instructions.
Sober no longer supports his mega mod so it is what it is, but I am here to help as best I can with any problems.
