Default AI British submarines?

Are there AI British submarines for SH 4? Would love to include one in upcoming TMO version, since they became common in late 44/45 in South West Pacific. Would be great to have them for encounters when operating in the UK with SubRon 50 as well. Hopefully something like the T Class. Otherwise, may have to clone a sub and have a stand in, which do not want.

As I recall... SH3, had some in there... with 4, Oper. Monsun did I think.... & not sure but, believe that KSD II: Ace ed. may, as well... (will crack those 2 open & take a look into the rosters, to be sure... only 1 I won't be able to outright check, is with the original Oper. Monsun... not without completely reinstalling it, however.) Another possible source, would be possibly... We dive at Dawn... but, as with the Uboat 4 mod sets... will crack open the working version I have set up on that 1, & take a lookie loo through it...

Ok, took a look see... & can't say... could be I totally missed them.

I do know that I recall running into some Brit subs in SH3... & I totally forgot to mention that dumpster fire 5... I know i recall running across a Brit sub, when making that run across to Danzig, before heading to Kiel, in the 1st mission you do... don't think it was in there in stock, however, I could be well mistaken & never saw it.

OK, outta fresh ideas... maybe some other could jump in here... with info on them & how to go about grafting them in... sorry ol' pal.... *sigh*

GWX has the S and T
Could be converted to SH4 with the GWX SH3 to SH4 program.

Ask Jimbuna for permission to convert them.
GWX SH3 to SH4 will do the heavy work to convert the files.
They won't have AO and you will need to tweek the files in some regards.

Being retired now? I may do an AO burn and convert on them.

Thanks for the info Jeff. Congrats on the retirement! If you would do an burn and convert them, I would appreciate it as beyond my current abilities lol.

There is also a U-Class that was converted from SH5:
https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=176182

The download seemed to be removed, so here is the reupload from s7rikeback's Silent Hunter Collection:

I think the SOM Group, who made soviet mod, has a model of the British V class, but I think they were not used in the eastern operations.

The Soviet mod has the U-Class, but it can be passed off as a V-Class since the U in that mod represents the group 2 and 3 boats of the class, which the V-Class shares a lot of similarities with.

The other link I have posted above (the SH3 U-Class) represents the group 1 boats.
