Default electric torpedo max range

I have an old installation that gives electric torpedo's a maximum range of 7.3km. I have a more recent installation that gives the electric torpedo's a max range of 5km.
I would like to keep my present setup, but I like the 7.3km electric torpedo range. What file or folder controls the range factor and would I be able to swap the file or folder with the characteristics I want (more range) with the setup I have.

Thanks for any help with this matter.

Without knowing for sure nor looking I'd bet the info. is in the various torpedo.* files in the Library folder.

Be sure you are looking at the same torpedo also. One has 3 speeds, another has 2... etc.

Torpedo.sim is where you edit all those parameters.
