No need to stick to low TC when out in the Ocean
Sure you will miss some ships but its a balance
I always use high TC when far from land - if I miss any aircraft then so be it
Close to land I rarely go above 128TC so as miss neither shipping or aircraft

I always play at 1028 and 2056 (or whatever they are), and I RARELY see aircraft.

How embarrassing, I seem to be the last one to get to play GWX... well, I´ve been away over the weekend and just got back home at Sunday night, so what´s the first thing I did? Go to subsim.com and check for GWX, and yep, I KNEW it, it´s been released already... so while I´m writing this I´m downloading.... this is gonna be great.

Thank you all and MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GOOD HUNTING TO ALL MEMBERS OF THID GREAT GREAT COMMUNITY!!!

Please excuse my ignorance as it concerns the Grey Wolves Mod/Expansion...but could some of you give me opinions on this vs. IUB? I've been using IUB for almost a year now and have been pretty complacent with it and have enjoyed the results of my decision to use it for some time obviously.

I've been following the development of GWX in the forums for some time and am very curious. Our group specifically uses IUB as well but we are always looking for improved methods of immersion in the game. Also, anyone have knowledge of other groups that use or will use GWX?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

You have to try this one,
i garante that after you'll not whant another Mod in your SHIII game...

No Offence to the Other Mods at all
in this, but you can allways install it and try it,
and if you don«t like it for what reazon so uninstall it and Runn the mod you prefer...

Hope this helps..

The MD5 file on the first page I still believe is the corrupted version.

Here is the good one for those who missed it.

I won't be very original but GWX is a good example for how people can keep their promises.

Good job to all the devteam.

The new damage model looks to work fine. The new ships are great and break a little routine... thanks a lot !

But I was quite surprise to see three escorted french convoy in sept. 1941 off the portugese coasts...

there were small convoy with 1 small merchant and one bigger, escorted by a french flower.
There were not Free French ships but Vichy France.
It's strange because the convention of the armistice, signed in june 1940, disarmed the French Navy...
Any idea ?

Stuck on dialup, or slow adsl? Could post a couple of copies, but that'd probably take just as long.

I was under the impression that they did keep a minimal navy. What the British couldn't destroy, anyways.
