The fact that the people who are looking don’t really know what they’re looking for tells me there is no accountability, and NARA doesn’t have a clue what’s out there. It makes me think every one who has ever been elected probably has some amount of unaccounted for classified material in their back pocket, purse, house, car’s glove box, rental space, resort office, safe, estate, cardboard box or garage.

That's fine too. Like I said, Trump's problem is the obstruction of justice, not the documents. In other words, it's not the crime, it's the coverup.

What coverup? And if he did obstruct justice why has he not been charged?

if I recall correctly, Clinton agreed to a law license suspension and 25,000.00$ fine to avoid obstruction charges.

Ah the old obstruction charge without an underlying crime to back it up gambit. Good luck with that. When it fails it'll be, what,? the 8th or 9th failed attempt at bringing the Orange Man down?

Hmmm. Trump is a private citizen in possesion of classified documents and subject to the espionage act so there is a potential crime involved.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if it's the 10th or the 100th attempt. I don't think Trump is going to avoid serious trial verdicts this year with the E Jean Carroll rape prosecution, the NY AG prosecution of his now felonious organization for tax fraud going to trial on October 3rd, this obstruction of justice problem over the NARA documents recovery, and possible indictments over Jan 6th.

He is in some deep doodoo and time has run out on his legal delaying tactics.

Lol, not even an indictment is proof of guilt. Next comes a trial then you’ll have to wait until the trial is over and then it goes to the jury who may pronounce guilt or innocence.

A former senior FBI counterintelligence official who spearheaded the Trump-Russia probe was arrested and charged over his own alleged ties to a sanctioned Russian oligarch amid the war in Ukraine.
Charles McGonigal, the former Special Agent in Charge of FBI’s Counterintelligence Division in New York, who retired in 2018, is accused of violating U.S. sanctions by agreeing to provide services to Oleg Deripaska, a sanctioned Russian oligarch. He is charged alongside Sergey Shestakov, a former Soviet and Russian diplomat who later became a U.S. citizen and a Russian interpreter for courts and government offices, through a five-count indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court Monday.
McGonigal and Shestakov both were arrested Saturday. The indictment is a rare move by federal prosecutors to bring charges against a senior former FBI official before a federal grand jury.
