This is the feel good thread, so lets feel good - with a relaxed and laid back day of holiday durign a summer day at the Schlachtensee in Berlin. Simply a calm, laid-back mood.


Hundekehlesee, Grunewaldsee, wetland Riemeisterfenn, Krumme Lanke and Schlachtensee form a long chain of lakes that run the entire length of Grunewald along its northeast-southwest axis. They form popular recreational areas with proximity to the Havel in the west, and the Wannsee, which in summer and winter undoubtedly belong to the absolute jewels of the city and are very popular with walkers and cyclists as well as paddlers and bathers. I have also enjoyed spending time there in the past. The real estate prices for the Grunewald houses, however, are among the most expensive in the city - ask no more, it's better that way.
