Ok I got scared when I started to read Berb's first post, then realized it was just a replacement of the exe.

Getting back into SH5, after reinstalling the game from Ubisoft on a new install, then adding the Wolves of Steel mod, everything has been working fine for me without changing out the SH5.exe. Using Windows 10, not running compatibility mode. Just a note that sometimes it all just works out. No CTD or BSOD, campaign moving along fine.

Really appreciate the feedback. I wonder if Uplay has made another change to the Game Launcher?

This is not true. Uplay v1.2.0 sh5.exe still isn't compatible with generic patcher...exe replacement is necessary.

Thank you for your feedback, this is the only way I find out when things are not as they should be.
The link in the tutorial post was broken because the author has been removed from Subsim because of infringements to the code of conduct.
There is a link to MultiSH5 in my tutorials downloads section.

Hi, if the read-only box is checked for SH5.exe file the update are able to replace the SH5.exe? maybe this is a fix to set sh5.exe file with read-only.
