I thought so too, but the window frames at the outer side of the three forward frames are thicker, and the anti-glare paint is wider in all the AN-22 pics I could find.

Not an AN-22 though they do have a similar appearance at least in that one area. It is not a Valiant also not the Space Shuttle.

Alright then a few clues. This is not a Russian or British design. This aircraft is powered by piston engines.(that means if you guess C-130 you are dead wrong those use turboprops)

No not a flying boat or float plane of any sort. That might be from the same general era though maybe a few years newer. Your guess is CL-215.

This aircraft has 4 engines.

Edit: The CL-215 is a bit newer than my aircraft by more than 10 years.

No not the Connie certainly one of the best looking aircraft my aircraft does not have such pleasing lines more like the Connies fat girlfriend. You are in the right ball park era wise though.

Yep certainly not in the running for most elegant looking aircraft.
It did get the job done though C-124 was the primary heavy lifter until the C-141 entered service now the C-141 itself is retired.
