Results of Medals Awarded?
Is there any? There is an advantage to some medals in SH III but do you have similiar advantages in SH IV?

Their isn't any advantage in awarding medals to the crew, I'm sure the SH4 devs were going to do something with them, but what that was is anyone's guess.
