in minor misery...got a Phizer booster 2 days ago; #5(all 4 previous jabs were Moderna) and the latest flu vaccine at the local CVS...this time in separate shoulders!! The Phizer shoulder is still unusually warm this AM and sore. My wife is feeling miserable from hers. Moderna wasn't available so I researched mixing booster jabs and it's permisable.

Things are sort of back to "normal" down here. Hardly anyone wears a mask, the Cruise ships and planeloads of tourists are back. Most of the businesses are back to normal hours - but are crying out for staff. Many job vacancies being unfilled.

A huge truancy rate for schoolkids, at least 30%. Begging seems to be a career choice for these young brats.

The work on the Art Gallery extensions ( The Eichhornchen Wing ) is nearly complete. They're looking for celebrities to cut the ribbon.

It's Mid Spring so there's pollen and dust everywhere...achoo achoo.

Thank God the lockdowns are just a memory.

We have covid numbers up then covid numbers down. Up, down, up, down... but no-one seems to give a toss any more. The missus and I wear masks in shops etc, even though practically no-one else does, except the frailest looking coffin-dodgers

Keep us posted on the art gallery... I'll see if I can make it lol

I purposely mix and matched Moderna/Pfizer. Research studies show people with both vaccines have higher immune response.
