Default 2 questions for a great mod

Although I am convinced that SH3 remains the most historically accurate, grittier and immersive U-boat sim ever made, I have to admit that I am pretty impressed by the OM mod. Great effort guys

I have a couple questions though; is there any bigger compass mod? I mean huge compass like this one:

Furthermore, is there a way to raise-lower the flag on my boat, plus, a better wake-water stream-exhaust gas mod?

Keep up the good work and...hunt them down all

Pity. This mod deserves more.

Thanks for your immediate response though. Cheers and once again bravo for your work.

That compass looks really good, and the map too, is that SH3 default or is it a mod? I only have SH4 installed but I'm thinking about taking a look at SH3 after reading so many good things about it. That GUI or a similar one would look great on OM also.

It's a combination of mods mate. Check this out: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=165890

Thanks nemo. I think I'll have to get SH3 to test it out, it looks pretty good with all those mods. I wish somebody could convert some of them to SH4/OM if that's possible. The navigation tools look awesome.

The Navigation Tools is a mod that makes SH3 look like SH4. Even in stock SH4 the tools look like that.

SH3 is as great as it is because of all the new mods (and the old ones) that keep coming out for it. If SH4 had all those mods I'd never touch SH3 again, just because of 4's better look and management systems.

But there will never be an SH4 Commander, so I still play both.

The 'Kiel Map Detail' mod might slip right into SH4 with JSGME. I'll give it a try in a few minutes and let you know.

And after reading the whole rest of all the forums as I always do, I just forgot all about it. Luckily SH4 loads very fast so it's no problem to install the file, load up the game and find out that no, it doesn't work at all. Too bad.

Of course you could have done the same and had an answer within minutes. Even beat me to the punch here and made me look stupid - not that I have any trouble doing that all by myself.
