Default Goblin Editor works with SH4 files?

I have used the Goblin editor in the past to edit SH5 *.GR2 files for ammunition loaded etc. The edition will create *.sim files to merge. Does this also work in SH4 for the sim files located in the Submarine folder, can I open and edit successfully these sim and other dat files with the Goblin editor?

Thanks,
XS

It is possible to use Goblin on SH4 files, however you need to have the program and it's associated files in the SH4 directory. S3D seems to work much better than Goblin anyways, but I do have limited experience with Goblin.

Thanks ETR3, for my purposes S3D is indeed much better, I just have used it to add torpedos to a Clemson playable destroyer, by editing the sim and upc files, that has taken me some time to understand, but the S3D part was really easy and intuitive. A fine tool.
