Do this ^. Or use VR headset and Google Earth+Streetview. I recently planned to walk the streets of Paris in VR Stretview for half an hour. It became five hours. I went to Londo a week later, and trapped into a similiar trap. Although I had been there before. I soared over the Thames, from London to the North Sea. Got as good idea of how the place is sorted, geograohically. Got a feel for the mood and atmosphere of places.

Yes, you get that in VR Earth/Streetview. The mood, the atmosphere of places. Absolutely yes.

Travel the Streetview pics in full 360° photpography around you, step by step, walk the roads at the speed of a pedestrian, or bicycle rider. Turn around, watch at all directions. Be immersed, fully.

I have seen more of the world in the recent two years than 20 years ago I hoped to ever see in 40 years. This alone, Google Earth+Streetview, already justifies the financial costs of getting into VR for me. Would do it again even if no other VR software would be available. Singapore, Hingkong, Tokayo. Grand Canyon in Earth, Yellowstine in Streetview. Not everythgign weas nice and beautiful, those Asian megacities are awful, imo. But yxou get an impression. You feel the mood and the atmosphere of the place. You absolutely do.

That Google does this for free and without hooks and traps for private people, is a big advertising coup for them, I know. But still, even if I usually trash them and squash them - for this I say them Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Its like a miracle every time anew when I go into Earth/Streetview with VR. I would poay a monthly 10 bucks if they would turn it into a subscription, that much I like it.

There are opportunities to explore and check around a lot, I like to pay for "IRL" (Even if they are visual), experiences that exist ... however, you can sift through the players but many offer qualities without ads and spam. And everything does not have to cost large sums.
