Default New Emblems Pack

Dear Kaleuns:

I present you my SH3 New Emblems Pack 2020.

You can find it in the Downloads section or here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ks73bg22kzbctu1/file

From the Readme File:

Dear SH3 Comunity:

After many years away from SH3 and modding, I returned to my favourite game in June 2020.

It was very pleasant surprise to find out that many members of the comunity are still
active and making new mods keeping SH3 very active. Friends from old times are present,
as well as many new Kaleuns that have joined our Radioroom. Glad to see you all in there!!!

So, to make it brief, I decided to create another Emblems pack for the Conning Tower.

I present you my SH3 New Emblems pack.

The emblems are based mostly on emblems used by german military units during WWII, some are
from the Bundeswehr and some are non-related to german military forces at all. The name will
tell you the name of the unit the emblem belongs to.

They are intended to create a little more diversity of options for our subs while in-game.

They were made in hi-res, so if for some reason it affects your framerates due to the size of
the files, you can re scale them to 256x256 or 512x512.

Just decompress the 7Z file and enable it via JSGME. It has the correct file/path structure.

As always, this mod is freeware and cannot be used for for profit in any way.

If you use my mod as part of another one, give proper credit to the author.

As always, thanks to all the people that taught me how to mod, to SubSim RadioRoom (Onkel Neal)
and to the entire comunity for the friendship and support.

Thanks for your time and enjoy it!!!

Aug/2020

Hope you enjoy them!

Dear Fifi, it should be compatible with any mod or mega mod, since it doesn't alter the file path structure in any way, and as far as I know, no megamod alters it either. This mod just adds files to the SH3 data/Emblems/SubEmblems directory, and unless there is a file with the same name in there, it changes nothing.

Hope you like it!

I've been thinking about your question Fifi, and the format used in the tower emblems with the German Uboats Compilation mod is different. So, my guess is that as the emblems in my mod are, they are not compatible with the mentioned mod, but if you want, I can make a version that is fully compatible with the compilation mod. Just let me know if you are interested in that.

That’s very kind of you, but honestly i think others may need it for German Compilation associated to GWX or NYGM...
Playing Onealex mod, i don’t really need it as you may have noticed the great emblems in this mod (even if a very few are missing)

To be sure of compatibility, best is to try it

Some emblems have 2 or 3 versions, that's it....

The name of the TGA is the name and number of the unit that used that emblem, yes, there are lots of Panzer Division emblems...
