Default Add new weapon type to a sub?

Hello,

I'm playing with the DWEdit and it seems that though I can change the available weapons for specific launcher, I cannot add new weapon type to the launcher (I can add it in DWEdit but it doesn't apply to the game).
I want to have TASM for seawolf just to play with it and it looks like I'd need to edit the binary directly to do it, is there any tutorial or some example that can give me a clue to it, I saw a previous post talking about how to change weapon capacity but not weapon types?

Seawolf can use Harpoons - smaller warhead but much harder for shooting down. Why you wanna change your database to NON-compatibile with other players database?

TSAM is an example, I wish to know the way of editing it more than having a clear goal in mind. The point of Harpoon being harder to intercept is interesting though, I don't know how the game depicts it and how accurate it is, I tried to fire salvos on a Udaloy II and it seems like neither Harpoons (8x) nor Granits (6x) can go through the SAMs, haven't tried TASMs.
Database is no concern to me since I don't play online anyways.

For me AI antimissiles defence works unrealistic. AI warships almost always launch antimissiles to maximum range even with EMCON state before attack. AI also knows which engaging missile is destroyed - what is not simple to find when you manually defend own ship from ASM attacks.
In MP missile attack and defence seems to look realistic - its not easy task (with player on sub engage player on surf).

You want to make game more unrealistic only for your own purposes (US subs dont use TASM, SeaLances or even Harpoons - only TLAMs). In real world subs do not uses ASM - only few have it. In DW 80% of attacs sub vs surf are ASM attack - its highly unrealistic. You wanna increase using of ASM but your main weapon should be "torpedo"

ADCAP -is best torpedo in DW. Increasing ASM capabilities will cause that your skill will be much lower than mediocre players using torpedoes instead missiles.

Of course you will do what you want. Im just warning - this is not good idea

Для того что бы утверждать о неиспользовании ASM в реальном мире,надо быть на много больше,чем простым игроком в симулятор морских боев.И...... с чего Вы взяли,что в 80% случаев атака надводного корабля подводной лодкой происходит ракетами?В этом случае все зависит от многих условий.Если у лодки есть хорошее целеуказание,то почему бы и нет.Но если лодка действует в одиночку,например на морских коммуникациях противника,то целеуказания у нее может не быть,а своя гидроакустическая станция наврятли услышит корабль из далека.К тому же целей над водой у лодки может быть несколько,и суммарным ПВО они легко отобьют ракетную атаку из под воды.А при залпе ASM лодка себя обнаружит.В онлайне может так и есть,что надводный корабль атакуется чаще всего ракетами,но в офлайне это далеко не всегда так.
