Default Update: rumoured next SBP addon

Ssnake hinted at the possebility that this autumn eventually may see a second addon, however, he refuses to reveal it's content for legal reasons (their military customers), and as usual: the timeline should be taken with extreme caution. However, it is no secret that the team is working on modelling the Pizarro. If that is what the next addon is about is neither confirmed, nor denied. I think the Australian Bushmaster also is in the works.

As they announced one year ago, if the addon fulfills certain criterions concerning volume and content (offering at least one new playable and one new OpFor vehicle, additional tactics package, and some more), it is possible that it eventually will mark the switch to addons becoming payware (patches still will be free). Business model and price is not decided yet, rumour is of around 20-25 bucks.

They also hope to release a minor update before autumn, maybe even in the immediate future, if all goes well. Rumours say that additional infantry capabilities and soldiers becoming better camouflaged in TIS is being worked on.

They said at release date the sim will remain supported and enhanced as long as the military buys it. So far, support has been highly dedicated and simply excellent, setting standards for other developers and publishers (probably turning white in their faces with shame), we had several patches, hotfixes and a complete addon. The future promises much more - for years to come. And so far they have kept their promises.

Weiter so!
