Technique to REMOVE the Omnimeter from OTC mod

I'm using TMO, RSRD and Improved Ship Physics; just added Optical Targeting Correction for RSRD w/TMO.

Runs great, here are my basic mods and my install configuration:

1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5
1_TMO_25_small_patch
RSRDC_TMO_V502
RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1
1.5_Optical Targeting Correction 031312 for RSRDCv502
1.5_OTC_Realistic Scopes for 8.5 to 4.8 RSRDCv502
Improved Ship Physics 2.6 for TMO_RSRDC_OTC

I don't do manual targeting and all the math that goes into it, so I play with Automatic torpedo firing solutions. I have no need for the Omnimeter which is tied to the 3-line message box at the bottom of the screen. I prefer the message box in the very top, right corner but it is hooked to the Omnimeter which needs to hide along the center, bottom.

Does anyone know a way to remove the Omnimeter or at least untie it from the message box? I've researched this and found no specific way to do this and I've tried several methods relating to the Menu 1024_768 file, and the Omnimeter.dds & .tga files under data\menu\skins\American\gui\omnimeter.xxx But to no avail. I'm now at an impasse and need some assistance.
